Fliuch Báite

That pretty much sums up the last couple of days.  The place is soaked!  It's the time of year with the longest evenings and I've been spending most of them indoors watching tv beacuse it's been wet and dark and cold.  What a waste!

Still, here's hoping it might turn yet.  I was out at the allotment for an hour this evening but it was too wet to do more than pick some lettuce and water the poly.  So instead, here are a couple of photos of some of this week's harvest instead:

Broad Beans - I should have planted more this year, they're lovely.

The raspberry production in the back garden is kicking into gear despite the rain.

  1. The Broad beans & Raspberries look very nice. I've been eating more Strawberries than I should recently, despite the persistent rain, a few fruit and veg have survived.

  2. Yep, some things love the rain. I love strawberries but they never grow well for me. I tend to just buy them on the road from local farmers instead.
